How to open your files
Pick your file type below. Each one takes a couple of minutes.

Step 1: get your files
- Right after checkout, a button to open your files appears on your order confirmation page. The same link is in your order confirmation email.
- The link opens a Google Drive folder. Tap a file, then the download icon (↓). You don't need a Google account to download.
- Nothing is shipped. Everything is a digital file.
PDF planners and inserts on a tablet
You need an iPad or Android tablet and a note app that opens PDFs.
- Save the PDF to your tablet. iPad: open the file from Drive, tap the Share icon, then Save to Files. Android: tap the download icon; the file goes to Downloads.
- Import it into your note app (see below).
- Tap a tab to jump between pages.
GoodNotes
Tap + (New), then Import, and pick the planner PDF. On iPad, just tap a tab to follow a link. If a tap draws a line instead, press and hold the tab and choose "Open Link", or switch to read-only mode. Buttons may look slightly different in your version of the app.
Notability, Noteshelf, Noteful and other note apps
Look for Import or Open in, then pick the PDF. If tapping a tab draws a line, put the pen away (choose a select or hand tool, or leave writing mode) and tap again. We haven't written step-by-step guides for these apps yet. If something doesn't work, email us with the name of your app and we'll help.
Samsung Notes and Xodo
We haven't tested these apps yet. Samsung Notes may not keep the links inside a PDF. If the tabs don't respond, you can still use the pages by scrolling or with bookmarks. Not sure? Email us before you buy.
Which file should I pick?
Portrait is for a tablet held upright. Landscape is for a tablet on a stand or in a keyboard case. Monday or Sunday start is the first day of your week. All versions are included, so pick one and switch any time.
Stickers
Unzip the ZIP file first (see ZIP files). In GoodNotes, add the PNG files to Elements. In other apps, insert them as images.
Printable PDFs
- Open the print guide PDF first (it comes with the printable planner). It tells you which file fits your paper.
- Open the PDF for your paper: US Letter, A4, A5 or Half Letter.
- Print at 100% ("Actual size", not "Fit to page"). Print only the pages you need.
Spreadsheets
Set it up on a computer or laptop. On a phone or tablet, open your copy in the free Google Sheets app to add entries and check it on the go. Phone web browsers show a read-only view.
Google Sheets (free, Mac or Windows)
- Open the Quick-Start Guide PDF.
- Click the "Make a copy" link in the guide, then "Make a copy". You need a free Google account. The copy is yours.
- Start on the "Start Here" tab.
Excel (Windows, Excel 2016 or newer)
- Download the blank .xlsx file (not the -EXAMPLE file).
- Open it in Excel. If you see "Enable Editing", click it.
- Start on the "Start Here" tab.
Mac
Use the Google Sheets copy. Apple Numbers is not supported.
Tip: open the -EXAMPLE file first to click around. It has made-up numbers. Type only in the boxes with a thin border; grey cells fill themselves. Nothing is locked.
ZIP files
- iPad or iPhone: tap the ZIP in the Files app; it unzips into a folder next to it.
- Windows: right-click the ZIP, then Extract All.
- Mac: double-click the ZIP.
- Android: open it in your Files app and choose Extract.
