Three budget spreadsheets in one bundle: budget by calendar month or by paycheck, then pay off your debt.
This bundle has our Simple Budget Spreadsheet, Paycheck Budget Spreadsheet and Debt Payoff Planner, in the same light, cream design. They are the same files we sell one by one. Each one works in Google Sheets and in Excel.
You save 25% compared with buying the three spreadsheets separately in our store.
WHAT YOU GET · 5 FILES
- 0-START-HERE-Budget-Spreadsheet-Bundle.pdf: one page that explains the bundle, which file to open first and how the three fit together
- Simple-Budget-Quick-Start-Guide.pdf (4 pages)
- Paycheck-Budget-Quick-Start-Guide.pdf (4 pages)
- Debt-Payoff-Planner-Quick-Start-Guide.pdf (4 pages)
- Budget-Spreadsheet-Bundle-Excel-Files.zip: the 6 Excel files in 3 folders, a blank file and an EXAMPLE file (made-up sample data) for each spreadsheet
Page 1 of each guide has that spreadsheet's Google Sheets "Make a copy" link. Using Google Sheets? Open the guide and use the link: no need to unzip anything.
WHICH BUDGET IS FOR YOU?
- Simple Budget Spreadsheet, by calendar month: pick a month and see money in, money out, saved + debt paid and safe to spend. A budget for each category, and a Year tab with 12 months side by side.
- Paycheck Budget Spreadsheet, by paycheck: paid every week, every 2 weeks, twice a month or every month? Each bill lands on the paycheck that has to cover it, and This Paycheck shows what is safe to spend until payday.
- Pick ONE as your main budget. The two budgets don't sync with each other, so logging in both means typing everything twice. Not sure? Open both EXAMPLE files and click around first.
PAYING OFF DEBT? ADD THE PLANNER
- The Debt Payoff Planner shows your debt-free date, Snowball vs Avalanche vs minimums only side by side, and the order to pay your debts.
- It is a separate file. Each time you pay a debt, add one row in your budget's Transactions, with the debt as the category, and one row in the planner's Payments. Once a month, type your statement balances in Progress.
- Tip: give each debt the same name in both files.
SPREADSHEET 1 · SIMPLE BUDGET (BY MONTH)
- You type in two places: a short Setup once, then one Transactions log each time money comes in or goes out. Everything else fills itself.
- Dashboard: pick a month and see money in, money out, saved + debt paid and safe to spend, a "where the money went" chart, budget vs spent for each category, savings goals, debts and account balances
- Bills tick themselves off: use the bill's name as the payee, and the Dashboard shows Paid ✔ (or Due, then Overdue)
- Year: 12 months side by side with totals, monthly averages, money left over and a column chart
- Accounts: the balance of each account plus a quick check against your bank
- Setup: up to 6 income sources, 24 spending categories, 6 savings goals, 6 debts, 6 accounts and 15 monthly bills. Start any month.
SPREADSHEET 2 · PAYCHECK BUDGET (BY PAYCHECK)
- Pay schedules: every week (52 paychecks), every 2 weeks, also called biweekly (26), twice a month, also called semi-monthly (24), or every month (12). Your year starts on your first payday, any date.
- Bills land on the right paycheck by themselves. Type each due day once; the file puts the bill on the last payday on or before that date.
- This Paycheck: pay received, bills before payday, left after plan and safe to spend now (also per day until payday), a "where this paycheck goes" chart, bills marked Paid ✔ / Due / Overdue, spending by category against your plan, savings goals and debts
- Paychecks: every paycheck of your year in one table, with a "bills load" bar, so you see the heavy paychecks coming. Today's paycheck is marked.
- Setup: up to 6 income sources, 15 monthly bills with due days, 24 spending categories with a plan per paycheck, 6 savings goals, 6 debts and 6 accounts. Bills are monthly: one due day each month.
SPREADSHEET 3 · DEBT PAYOFF PLANNER
- List each debt once: balance, interest rate (APR) and minimum payment. Up to 10 debts. Pick Snowball or Avalanche and the extra you can pay each month.
- Plan: your debt-free date, total interest, interest and months saved compared with paying minimums only, Snowball vs Avalanche vs minimums only, and your payoff order with the month each debt is paid off
- The snowball is built in. When a debt is paid off, its money moves to the next debt by itself.
- Schedule: every month of your plan. A green cell marks the month a debt is paid off.
- Payments: one row each time you pay a debt, 600 rows ready. Progress: % paid off, Paid off ✔ / In progress / Not started, a 100-box chart (1 box = 1% of your debt paid off) and an "Are you on track?" check.
- From the example file (made-up numbers, an example only): 6 debts, 37,250 in total, 1,111 a month. Snowball: debt-free Feb 2029, 4,329 in interest. Avalanche: Feb 2029, 4,138 in interest. Minimums only: Jun 2035, 9,789 in interest. Your numbers will be different.
WHY IT'S SIMPLE
- Type in the white boxes. Everything else fills itself.
- One log feeds every tab, so you never type the same number twice.
- Nothing is locked. No passwords, no macros. Click any grey cell to see its formula.
- No video needed. Each spreadsheet has a Start Here tab and a 4-page guide, and the bundle has a 1-page Start Here.
- ADHD-friendly by design: one place to type, three short steps, and no number you have to update twice.
HOW IT WORKS
- After checkout, click the download button on your order confirmation page. The same download link is also in your order confirmation email.
- Open "0-START-HERE-Budget-Spreadsheet-Bundle.pdf" and pick your budget.
- Open that budget's quick-start guide. Use its Google Sheets link to make your own copy, or unzip the ZIP and open the blank .xlsx in Excel.
- Setup takes about 5 minutes. Then log each money move in Transactions. Amounts are always positive: the category decides if it's money in or money out.
- Paying off debt? Set up the Debt Payoff Planner the same way, then add one row in Payments each time you pay a debt.
COMPATIBILITY
- Google Sheets: use the "Make a copy" link on page 1 of each guide (a free Google account is needed)
- Excel 2016 or newer on Windows (tested in Excel 2021)
- On a Mac? Use the Google Sheets copies
- Set it up on a computer. On a phone or tablet, open your copy in the free Google Sheets app to add entries and check it on the go. Phone web browsers show a read-only view.
- Not for Apple Numbers.
- Any currency: pick or type your currency symbol. It's a label only; nothing is converted.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Digital download. No physical item will be shipped.
- For personal use only. You may gift one copy to one person. Please don't share, resell or redistribute the files or the Google Sheets links beyond that.
- English only. Colors may look slightly different on different screens.
- This is a budgeting and planning tool, not financial advice. "Safe to spend" is a planning number based on what you type. Debt interest is an estimate (APR ÷ 12 each month); your lender may count it differently, so check your statements.
- Designed with the help of AI tools, then checked by hand.
