In a small kitchen, a colander takes up half the sink and washed fruit drips across the counter while you look for somewhere to set it down.
Let the sink hold it. This basket slides out to rest across your sink basin, so rinse water drains straight down. Use it to wash fruit and vegetables or to let a few washed cups and bowls drip dry. When you are done, slide it back to its shorter length and put it away.
Measure first: both ends of the basket rest on the sink edges, so the inside width of your sink basin should be less than 18.9 in (48 cm). The basket is about 7.9 in (20 cm) wide and adjusts from about 13.6 to 18.9 in (34.5-48 cm) long. Sizes are measured by hand and may vary slightly.
